Our management program stresses ground cover and wildlife openings while carrying an above average volume of quality timber. There are over 50 food plots, cover plots and wildlife openings throughout the property. Food plots are tested for soil ph and fertilizer needs on an annual basis. Timber is managed with a preferred basil area of between 50-60 in some of the larger stands. While this may be higher than standard for an recreational plantation timber values and aesthetics are an important part of the habitat quotient.
