Essentially, you have over a half-million acres in your backyard.
Except for two fields totaling about two acres, the property is forested with mature trees. The forest types are hickory-oak-black gum-spruce pine, diamondleaf oak-water oak-ash, beech-magnolia-holly, and tupelo-cypress. One corner of the property includes the bank of the pre-Talquin course of the Ochlocknee River and has a ravine flora of trout lily, trillium, and green dragon wildflowers. Mapleleaf viburnum is also on the property. Deer and turkey are abundant. Bear and bobcats cruise through occasionally.
"Dollar for dollar, the recreational opportunities at Hubbard Creek are exceptional and you rarely see a cabin included for this price. It has a premier location bordering the 632,890 acre Apalachicola National Forest, the largest in Florida, is across the road from Ochlocknee River access, and is just south of the great fishing and boating on the 10,000 acre Lake Talquin."
